The service at this hotel was amazing! the staff was so helpful with parking and navigating around the city. the breakfast was delicious and gave me a great start to my day. the room was spacious and clean, providing a comfortable and peaceful stay. the location was perfect, with easy access to the historic areas and the beautiful Danube River. I also enjoyed taking a stroll in the lovely garden at the back of the guesthouse.
There was one downside to my Christmas stay at this hotel. the hair dryer in my room was broken, which was a bit inconvenient.

The hotel was incredibly friendly and the staff was very helpful, it had UNBEATABLE location to old town in anything from 2 to 15 minutes. The rooms were beautifully designed and clean with sofa, large bed and very nice decoration, just what we needed. The garden served a wide range of meals for breakfast.

The location was mind-blowing, just a 3-minute walk from the boat pier. The breakfast was absolutely jaw-dropping, with an amazing variety of cheeses, cold cuts, and unique oils and vinegars. The owner even gave us a bottle of balsamic vinegar as a gift! The host went above and beyond, offering to cook fresh eggs and presenting us with a delicious omelette and roasted veggies. The attention to detail in the hotel was superb, from the curated music to the carefully chosen wifi password. The room was clean and comfortable, the shower room felt like a tropical escape, and the staff were super friendly. The lovely garden and great breakfast made our stay even more enjoyable. Perfect for cyclists on the Danube.

Holy moly, this place is incredible! The room was like a dream - a huge bed and a cozy sofa, plus the shower hidden inside a wardrobe? Mind-blowing! And don't even get me started on the view from the window, it was jaw-dropping! The city itself, oh my, such a cute and charming old town. But let's talk about Ferdinand, the owner, who is an absolute legend. He speaks perfect English and made our stay unforgettable. From recommending an amazing restaurant to whipping up the most sensational egg breakfast, he's the real deal. And the private courtyard? Super cool! This place is a gem, highly recommended for a memorable stay. Bonus: great wifi, no pets allowed, and no smoking on-site. Can't wait to come back!

The location of the hotel was perfect for our needs. We were just a short walk away from the pier for the Wachau Valley boat ride, which was our main reason for visiting. the hotel also provided a delicious breakfast with a variety of cheeses, cold cuts, and unique oils and vinegars. We even received a bottle of balsamic vinegar as a gift from the friendly proprietor. the staff were very helpful in guiding us to free parking and providing information.
The steps in and out of the bathroom were a bit hazardous, especially at night. the bed was comfortable but a bit soft for my back.

As a budget traveler, I really appreciated the close proximity of the Wachau Valley Boat ride and the pier, which was just a 3-minute walk from our accommodation. the breakfast offered a delicious variety of cheeses, cold cuts, and unique oils and vinegars for our bread. the balsamic vinegar was so good that the proprietor even gifted us each a bottle. the host guided me to a free parking spot, which was a great bonus.
Felt totally relaxed, nothing to complain about.

Large bed and sofa. Shower inside wardrobe. Nice view from window: cloister and vine. Small, nice old town. Located in Stein. Middle-age cathedrals. 20 minute walk to Krems, 5 minute to Und. University 15 minute walk. Very detail-oriented. Carefully curated breakfast, music, wifi password. Ordinary made special. Clean, quiet guest house. Great location for historic centers and Danube. Basic, affordable, old-style charm. Nicely refurbished bathroom. Friendly staff. Okay breakfast.

I had an incredible experience at a hotel located near the Minoritenkirche and the Museums in a charming town. The service was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of options. The shared terrace with fig trees was a refreshing and relaxing spot to unwind. Despite a couple of minor drawbacks like the quirky shower and toilet placement, I highly recommend this friendly and welcoming hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its impeccable service and convenient location.

We recently stayed at a guesthouse in Stein for the Donaufestival, and we couldn't have asked for a better value for money. The location was perfect, right next to the Minoritenkirche and the museums, and just a short walk from the Danube waterfront. We were also only 10 minutes away from the city center of Krems. The historic setting and the lovely patio with many tables added to the charm of the place. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, they were incredibly helpful with parking and getting around the beautiful city. The breakfast offered a delicious variety of cheeses, cold cuts, and unusual oils and vinegars for our bread. We were even given bottles of balsamic vinegar as gifts. Our experience at Gastehaus Auf Der Kunstmeile was truly delightful, and we will definitely be returning.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair. 😊
